Welcome to the Community Day League, the platform for Pokemon Go players to showcase their skills and compete against one another during Community Day events. Here, trainers from around the world will be able to participate in the competition and see how they stack up against others.
The competition is simple to enter, but it comes with a set of rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Entry to the competition begins at 9 AM on Community Day, and players can enter their initial screenshots at any point before 5 PM. In order to participate, players must let us know their in-game trainer name, and they may only enter on behalf of one community. All players must follow Niantic's fair play guidelines and any failure to follow the rules could result in being removed from the leaderboards.
The competition has two categories: Catches and Weight Division. In the Catches category, players will post their trainer name and a screenshot of the month's featured Pokémon Dex entry and have until 5:15 PM to take their final screenshots. To be eligible for points, players must post an updated Dex entry plus a screenshot of their featured Pokémon shiny catches by 9 PM. Each featured Pokémon catch is worth one point and each shiny catch is worth five bonus points.
In the Weight Division, players have until 9 PM to enter their screenshots and aim to find the heaviest and lightest shinies of the month's featured Pokémon. All shinies must have been caught during the Community Day period, and players may submit multiple entries, but only their heaviest/lightest will be eligible. The top 5 heaviest weights will be added together to create a Community Score, and in the case of a tie, the side with the highest height total will take the position.
Join the Community Day League today and put your Pokemon Go skills to the test!
